I just hope I'll remember to wear pants next time I'm there coz the 'skitos' can get real friendly with you.
After my umpteenth time there, can't believe I only just spotted this spelling mistake on their menu! By any chance, poutry = the art of pouting?
Let's take a look at their 'colourful' drinks menu ...
Somehow there's bound to be the 'traffic-light' combo drinks whenever you dine in a big group, eh?
(er, should have at least stirred the apple drink firstla)
Wow, the BIGGEST drink ordered by the smallest member of our group, Jin.
Sassy (read 'sissy') Roselle drink picked by Derek!
Down to serious business, Choy Phyll concentrates hard while reading her birthday card. And everybody knows that when it comes to birthday cards, we do a jolly good job keeping the reader 'entertained'.
See what I mean?
Here're my recommendations ...
1. Grilled Lamb Loin/ Shoulder/ Leg (whichever part works for you)
2. Mixed Grill as below (Chicken, Prawn - oh, so fresh and sweet!, Lamb/ Beef) Loved the way the prawns are stuck on a satay stick so you can easily nibble off the shells.
Also the birthday girl's main course...
I'm putting this photo because of Jin's newly-cut fringe! :-o
OK forget the hair, let's zoom into Jin's main. This is some Chicken dish...sorry I forgot the name but dang, it sure looks appetising!
3. Fish a'la Lemon (Yin's) - fish just crispy and lemony to perfection! Don't forget the tartar sauce.
naah, it's their Chicken Rice (Sam's). A nice surprise, it turned out to be quite good.
4. Cheese-baked Escargot (snails) - the cheapest in town I could find (so far!) only RM 9+ for 1/2 dozen.
5. Presenting the star of the night...SPICY TANGY FIERY Tom Yam Soup!
It was a Choc Fudge cake btw.
Hope you enjoyed the birthday song the live band sang for you that night, CP!
Have a good year ahead.
