Hey we have our very own Gurney Drive...in KL!
It has a hawker-stall concept, each specialising in a particular Penang-famous dish from a specific location in Penang.
Boleh tahan la its posh interior...extremely quiet too during Saturday lunch hour. Be sure to choose the perfect spot away from the glaring sun that shines right through into the restaurant. We changed tables 3 times!
Not bad hah, I'm getting better with these d-i-y photo taking! And my face is what you call c-h-u-b-b-y! (o^.^o)
I had my biggest bowl of Chendol ever- even their red beans and green 'wriggly-worms' were humongous!Not the BEST cendol I ever had though...it's all in the SANTAN....gotta be f-r-e-s-h-l-y squeezed baby!
Highly recommended Char-kuey-teow which was eventually too hot for Moon to handle!

MmmPPHtt! My Mee Goreng Mamak has a slightly burnt taste.. +_+
'Forced' smile...ohh-kay la, not too bad after all... Waitaminute, I think it was Bee-Hoon Goreng Mamak, not mee..
We ordered so much food! Food here's slightly pricey (about RM15/ala carte) but the environment is for sure a cosy one!
My blouse spells 'S-L-Y', that's me! (that's the brand 'Sisley' in short..so what if the person who gave me this is no longer in my life...sLy is forever! ^-^)

haha u're right! Nothing beats going to the real Gurney Drive...was just there few mths back la(see my earlier entry)& the food was to D-i-e for....
