try aunty fatso

I have a newly discovered (at least to me) makan place in Melaka Raya, Malacca run by an Aunty Fatso. Located just beside a mangrove swamp, this place screams great affordable food with lots of parking space. One glance at the giant neon crab and you'll guess this is a seafood restaurant. But wait, before you start stereotyping, not all seafood restaurants slaughter you with their hefty pricing. It really depends on the dishes you order and the location.
Plus it also helps if it's a non-air conditioned restaurant. heeeheee.
Come real early to this place, say around 6pm, to ensure you get a table.
Here's what we ordered after some recommendation from relatives, and of course other bloggers like me.

 1. Pai kuat wong (umm...'King of Spare Ribs'?) - RM 14
2. Steamed Egg with something in it i forgotten wat - RM 15
3. Mantis Prawn - RM 15
4. Thim jao gai (Sweet Wine Chicken) - RM 18
5. Sei dai thin wong (Four Heavenly Kings vege) - RM 16
ok, in layman terms, it simply means 4 types of vege stir-fried together
6. Fa yok (Spicy Pork dish) - RM 20 (SIGNATURE DISH!!!)
7. Fan shue miu (Fried Sweet Potato leaves) - RM 10
8. Lai Yao Hai (Butter Crab)  - RM 143
I'm too lazy to type 'super SEDAP' 8 times in a row. What it simply means is i had a fantastic dinner with aunty fatso.

We graciously settled the bill of RM 284.30 for a table of 11 pax (one of us was a mummy expecting twins somemore).

And what about Aunty Fatso? Living up to her name, she was quite the customer-oriented lady boss. She constantly came to our table to remind us that our food was coming and towards the end, thanked us for dining there. A nice touch to ensuring we were a belly-happy bunch.
 And indeed we were!
