(taking deep breath.....) : here goes........short yet sweet :)
WELCOME to the WEDDING OF AGNES and WOO ^_^
I stole these from their wedding album....dun worry, snapshots only.
i like these outdoor shots.
And the cutest of all...lol
Hair combing ritual the night before the morning of the wedding...Since I stayed the night with Agnes, I had the opportunity to witness, but had no idea what the mother was saying with each comb of hair. The final combing was supposed to bless her with lots of babies lor..
Just the next morning when the stylist and makeup artist came to help the bride pan leng leng.. (means 'make pretty pretty') :D
YUMMY food for the guests (of the bride and groom's side) for the morning session.
We Chinese call them 'heng-dai' (brotherhood? hahahaha).
Our torture plan included marie biscuits with a wasabi-centre, pure lemon juice + other sour stuff, juice from a really bitter type of leave, wax strips for the guy with the hairiest legs, pumping while eating a banana 'yang dikepit' (sorry can't recall what is kepit in english!) in between another guy's thighs, travelling quail's egg through a guy's pants.......and
THAT was about it!
How la like dat!
So we had no choice but to dig for more ang pow $$ from the groom...nyek nyek..
Amidst all the commotion in the apartment, even the cleaners decided to menyibok. lol.
Woo looking soooo relieved he finally got to be with wifey!!
Now, hold those lips for the camera!
Loved the gown btw....simple yet elegant in a sophisticated way.
10 ji-muis (sisterhood) wei! Not bad leh...
For the dinner, this was what I wore. Damn casual, rite? Sorry, but I somehow tend to dress for weddings according to the venue and this was in a restaurant.
At least, I did my hair......just didn't realised it had so many twists and turns to it - cost me RM 35 though!
This is either my 'forced smile' look or my 'frozen coz smile too long' look.
OOH I like this 'dun mess with me' look.
I took this one coz Agnes looked so happy seeing her ji muis arriving at the restaurant.
Phhhui-wuit!!
View of the stage from where I was seated.
AXA colleagues that were also seated at the same table...
Wedding dinner dishes are generally all the same so just gonna show you the first dish of the 'Hot and Cold Combination' or as some call it, 'The Four Seasons'.
