AXA's greatest C.E.O. (Chief Entertaining Officer) recently left the company to seek a new platform in which to ingrain his priceless knowledge and story-telling abilities.

He likes to be known as just a simple plain guy, but there's nothing plain about this chap.
Though not working with him in the same class of insurance, but he has taught me a great deal in work improvisation and to see things in a different light.
And of course, my database of jokes and riddles has since tripled.
Swell.

A big bunch of us managed to squeeze in a lunch treat for him during his last few hectic days at work. We went to The Lodge Resthouse at the corner of Jalan Raja Chulan (opposite the Raja Chulan Monorail Station) where they were having a promotion of Thai Lunch Set for 2 at RM 33++.
Can't stress again how much I love these Pie-tees. They're so hard to come by, aren't they?

Tom Yam Soup is good too with lots of prawn and squid.

Sambal sotong. Not as spicy as it looks.

Green curry, another must in Thai cuisine. This version's a tad too oily for my liking.

Another fish and vegetable dish comes along with the set as well.

So generally, we're a healthy bunch.
