sumthin' dim sum

I've finally decided to write about my most frequented Chinese restaurant - 'Old Hong Kong Kitchen' (at No 36, Jalan Utara off Jalan Imbi). This little subdued place is in a kinda remote part of town, so can't blame many who have not heard of this place. Chinese restaurants that display aquariums filled with living creatures happily swimming about,
until sadly, they end up on the dining table, usually give you the impression that their dishes are heftily priced.
Especially when Geoduck is one of the dishes they serve.
My my, what an ugly looking creature it is.
However, what's most interesting and currently on promotion in this place is their Dim Sum.
Enjoy the splendour of dining on 'above-average'-tasting dim sum while sipping hot Chinese tea in the ambience of an air-conditioned place, and paying only half of the price.
That's 50% OFF every single item on its Dim Sum menu!
Every Wednesday and Sunday...YUP, SUNDAY too...that's kewl.
It's so affordable that you'll be inclined to select almost every item on the menu...Be warned, suckers for those food order forms with tick-boxes and pencils on hand!
A glimpse of what I ate ...

and THIS I couldn't remember what it was, but it sure looked good on the inside, eh?
*B-B-BURRRRPPP*

So go ahead, bring an aunt and a grandma there for a Sunday dim sum...
..and remember to keep on smiling even if your food arrived late.
After all, what's a little waiting as long as you can fill up your tummy with good dim sum for less than RM 8.
Even cheaper than KFC Snack Plate.
