new year luncheon

A great start to the new year 2013 as i was treated to a sumptuous home-cooked NY luncheon by sis and bro-in-law; who are also the parents of this lovely baby boy named Tristan.

"Chef" Ravin's selection of Western dishes, fit for the new year...

HaH, i managed to get hold of the recipes too! (not a family secret i hope)

Loved this corn beef - refreshing, without the strong beefy taste.

Except for the chicken's charred skin, the roast was flavourful and lemony. YUMMEH!
And the garlic bread was to die for!!

And we're ready to eat!

 Cheers to the wonderful hosts.

Nah, it was only strawberry jelly. ^^

"CAUGHT IN THE ACT"

"LOOK INTO MY EYES....."

Finally, made some tomato-based pasta for dinner, and at the same time, discovered that adding oregano and cayenne pepper to my pasta does a lot of difference!
HAPPY 2013!! Hope it'll be another great year with more reasons for celebrations...^^
