luen and pan mee

We went to visit a friend's house recently (in this context, i consider a year ago as 'recently' haha). Anyway, this house still stands majestically tall today, so it doesn't matter that i'm only writing about it now. ^^

Managed to snap a picture of the crazy-spacious living room just when friend's dad was looking away at another direction. Not to say i'm nuts about the interior design,

but at least i can say i've been to Chris Chan's living room. Which reminds me, funny story how i first got to know Chris Chan...it was by chance that i added him into Facebook (thinking he was my one of my colleagues). Turned out he wasn't (!). He was actually Mark's good pal from secondary school. The one Mark calls ah-Luen. And to think Mark was always telling me stories about ah-Luen this and ah-Luen that, who'd have guessed that Luen would have such a refined name like Chris Chan...haha, hilarious! That is why guys, you should always put a photograph of your (true) self on FB. Who cares if you don't look like no Brad Pitt - we love you just the way you are! ^^
Luen's graduation portrait.....so serious, man!

Back to our agenda on that day, well basically, we didn't have any, so we decided to head over to Mr Big Bowl Pan Mee for a....big bowl of pan mee, of course.

Business is good.

The kitchen in operation and in full view of the patient customers. Despite non-stop getting bowls of pan mee out, good thing there's no Hell's Kitchen fury in here. .

For paying the price of a small bowl pan mee,

the returns are delightfully LARGE!

Not a bad recommendation from "ah-Luen long legs."

Those long legs certainly come a longgggggg way. hehe.
