Puma Furio Party (roaar)

in conjunction with Puma's 10th year involvement in motorsports in lieu of Malaysia's latest F1 season and Puma's partnership with Ferrari.

going to this 'by-invitation-only' party was way better than the F1 Gala Dinner coz i'd have to pay my whole month's salary to attend the latter! (plus it's not opened to the public ^_^)

the entire day i was dreaming of the slightest chance to meeting KiMi at this party, especially when i was kicking my own butt for missing out on his autograph session the day before in Pavilion (so near my office!!)....aaaah, how can i forgive myself..!

the many foreigners who were also present at the party. na-ah, no way we were gonna pose for Puma...not without them paying us...tee~hee...jk, the place was jam-packed!

it was a sea of blood-red dudes and dudettes scampering around the not-so-vast area. i wonder how many were genuinely Ferrari fans or they were merely dressed in red for the occasion. my first time here, i found this place smaller than expected, and so full of pillars, i was tempted for a game of hide-and-seek

obviously i was so preoccupied with their free flow of booze that night! =_^

all it took was a wee bit of courage and a lot of hesitation among us while going 'you go first..eh wan ah..er you go first la' before we finally approached this group of people.

and after a while, it became a fun and addictive 'stalking' activity.

after all, how often do we get to do this.

26-yr old host of 8TV's Quickie, she's all bubbly and vivacious that night. this Taylor College grad was the face for Nesvita, Baush & Lomb and Excel Isotonic.

this 25-year old Univ of Melbourne finance grad is one smart chick! reading about her, i found out that she's been writing for the Star since she was 16. today, she's got to be one of the most sought-after emcee. just to name a few, she's ambassador of Sunway Pyramid and spokesperson of Clinique and Reebok. she has many many more tv hosting and endorsements under her belt. www.xandriaooi.com

Joanne Kam Poh Poh

before this, i've known her as this big, brash-mouthed diva who entertains with nothing short of sexual jokes (as i've attended one of her live shows before with her very-talented group of dancers). just over a year ago, she's surprised everyone with this huge loss of weight (thanks to weight management centre, Unisense) and her image's certainly toned down as well. she wasn't as wacky as she did a pretty good job emcee-ing that night.

OK I know you can't get enough of Belinda Chee so here she is (again).. ^_^

during the much-awaited event of the night - mark's friend, Wai Wah goes up on stage coz WWW (Wai Wah Wins)!!

won what you ask? he won one out of the 6 F1 Grandstand tix during the lucky draw giveaway. imagine his luck!!

and then Mark wins too! what are the odds, right?? that out of about 300 party-goers there, 2 out of 6 winners were our own people!

and i got nothing.......except maybe the thrill of watching Phat Fabes dressed as a girl.
