a) are too lazy to drag their feet to an actual mall, pick up their clothes and queue for the fitting room; or
b) are too self-conscious to be seen shopping in public?; or
c) have too much money to fling around that they will risk buying something they merely 'see, read and imagine', only to find out later that the size ain't right/ they didn't look half as good as the model who wore it!
until i was googling one boring night, lookin for boutiques that sell small-sizes clothes...when i came across some places that were not bad at all...
ok, now wouldnt call myself petite size (that only applies to ppl like MsKhooBeeJin!) but seriously, for me MNG punya XS oso leave some ruang here and there ..now talk about trying to get even a pair of working slacks! i've been looking for a black pair of working slacks for ages now! Padini XS also too big..me and my small a**... huu huu....in case u do not know, i have sizes ranging fr XS - XL in my cupboard...shows i hv been the 'F' word before..hahahaha!
Thk God for Levis jeans for ladies though.! Levis spells H-O-T !
Some of the suggestion of places i managed to compile (suitable for smaller size ppl) are
- Promod (1U, Pavi) - said to be rather costly though! my guess, Topshop, Warehouse prices
- The Pink Pussycat (Sg Wang, 1U) - hv yet to check out
- My Dressroom (Bangsar), Principles (Bangsar) & Poppi Boutique (Bangsar) - sounds promising
- Urban & Co - their design very sweet and flowery..i like!..tapi recently cari2 kat MV takda pun...i think it closed down.. :-(
- GAP, MNG - ada sales baru i masuk jenguk2..otherwise it's easily Rm 200 for a pair of pants
- Elements - not bad for working attire...got a couple of dem blouse and skirt
- Rest & Relax - yup they hv '0' size which are reaaally small..got a blue japanese style blouse
now back to online shopping, i shall probably one day try it...can't help it la..most of the clothes look so damn good! well, of coz it also helps that those Taiwanese big-eyed models wearing them look so darn cute! haha...my only problem is not knowing how well it fits (sure they give u the exact measurements for bust and all but they also ask that we allow about 2-3cm adjustment coz some material are stretchable..what the..) ...or what if they mail me a defective product..gasp!...good sold not returnable they say..
i'm still wundering who buys clothes online anyway...delivery charges also we pay ourselves, pricing wise not to say it's cheaper..and what if it gets lost halfway....haha
nevertheless, those really cute outfits u see above...it's from http://www.applefacefashion.blogspot.com/ & http://www.misskboutique.blogspot.com/. ..so till i find the will-power to shop online, i think i'll find a better bargain in the regular stores.....next stop, Sg Wang Plaza! ><
