year-end fun ... jap for birthdays

I think it's great to celebrate your birthday in the festive month of December, and to have dear Yin to share the same birthday month as me! ^^

It's like the whole world mall lights up and celebrates together with you in the most vibrant mood of all!

And how can we ever leave out spunky jin whom as high-spirited as she is, has managed to survive another year being a non-facebook user!
Time to revive that facebook itch in 2014!

Nothing better than going Jap on a birthday and ending the night with tea and drinks so colorful, i felt like i was drinking the Sabah flag.
Sukiya Jap buffet and later, Six Inch Cafe

Then, yours truly's birthday came and it's a no-brainer question as to where to makan.

Hubby, another ardent fan of Jap, came along too. ^^

Me with my dear ladies and gentleman from my ex office.

This particular outlet in Farenheit 88 is almost always packed to the brim, but i was so glad we got our own private room that night. Great for taking all the photos we want!

The food here is simply awesome too! Only my 2nd time in this outlet and loving every bite of anything i put in my mouth. Of course, food shared seemed to always tastes better too. tee~hee.

Some pancake which looked like it just jumped out from a horror movie or something.
Looks like a tad too much mayo, but turned out to be just nice for that perfect 'burst' in the mouth.

Still not sure if this is a green plant or green jellyfish thingy that Danny ordered.

We were on a roll with pretty much a hand roll per person.

Now these kind of rolls are always best for sharing if you have plenty of mouths to feed.

S-A-L-M-O-N !!!! (cue to go berserk!)

Japanese rice bowl - to fill up any remaining space in one's tummy.

Sushi topped with sauce that just by looking at it, you know it'll taste damn sedap!

Penultimate moment of the night - my favourite birthday ice cream wafer! ... in cut up pieces.
Hey, saves us the trouble of having to slice it up ourselves later. Smart.

Then it was one quick 'lit up' finger, a million wishes made and one swift blow of the candle finger, before the ice cream melts!

Wafer 'cake' was awesome but the gang was still the best!

I can't thank these guys enough for celebrating with me - you ROCK, guys!
