breakfast at starbucks'

I recently tried Starbucks' brekkie set. After all, it must be something to shout about (or at least to squeal in delight) if their advertisement appears in The Sun almost daily.
Here's the deal - for only RM 6.50, you get a Tall-sized coffee/latte
and one of these warm breakfast sandwiches. I know it looks super damn sedap on the poster above but in actual fact, this is what you get...(i've tried my best to make these buns look as attractive and sexy as possible but the 'real' buns are rather puny in size)...

1. Sunny Egg Sandwich in Wholemeal Bread
- if your eyes are as sharp as your tongue, you'd noticed that the top half of the bun is not wholemeal as i don't fancy the taste of wheat bread...tee~hee
i think you can give this one a miss as it's basically like a benjo using an upper-class type of bread; even McD's McEgg comes close and at a cheaper price.
2. Sausage Omelette Sandwich in Ciabatta Bread
- another 'healthy' type of bread, this one comes in second best for its tasty omelette and cheese-laden sausage pieces (about 4 or 5). i managed to 'rob' a few pieces from its owner =_=
3. Minced Chicken Omelette Sandwich in Chilli Bread

- this is the outright winner! the best of the best! well, there were only 3 types to choose from anyway..
i'm certainly having this one if i go again...
hmmm you can almost taste the egg by looking at this photo alone..beats looking at the poster ya! oh, and the top half's from my wholemeal set.
If you're having just the sandwiches, they're RM 4.80/piece.
And if this tiny sandwich (about the size of a child's palm) is not enough for you to chow down, there's always their selection of pastries, cakes and muffins to satisfy you!
Check out the enthuasiasm written all over the faces of Mark who is about to sink his teeth into his nifty little bun and Tan over ...umm..sugar?
Mark looks like he's breaking into a high note while trying to eat at the same time.
Someone else came along soon after....Mary and a 'mystery' gal...
'Mystery' gal, Gwen finally reveals all....
here's a better take after i managed to gobble down that bit of bread in my mouth.
wah, si beh 'chuen' or not me...do not underestimate the flaring nostrils
here's how you should not eat your sandwich.....with a fork and knife! (where's the fun in that)
instead, use both hands for a better grip and finger-licking experience!
the brekkie sets were moving like hot cakes!
see see.....in no time, all gone!
and when WE were gone, look at the mess we created! ^_^

Brekkie sets are offered until 2pm daily at all outlets in KL and Selangor only.

Still, try it out when you get a chance! ^_^
