The restaurant in Pavilion, Athena takes after the name of a famous Greek goddess. But you won't find any Greek cuisine here.
This place serves Mediterranean food such as seafood paella, moussaka, lamb kofta and much more.
Thank God for its bar, or else i don't think this place could have survived this long. Its restaurant occupancy was less than 10% during the lunch peak hour.
Cafe Latte (RM10)
Ginger Ale (RM 9) - so disappointed that for the price paid, all i got was a canned soft drink!
Mixed Bruschetta Platter (RM 43) - way way way overpriced for a plate of 10 petite-sized slices. Could do with a livelier garnishing or color to this dish, and some melted cheese perhaps? hehe... Anyway, the different types of meat on it were rather tasty.
Chicken Peri Peri (RM 42) - move aside Nandos, this is da Bomb! Nice with a tinge of spiciness.
Grilled Salmon (RM 56) - loved this! Tangy sauce complements the tender salmon beautifully.
Spicy Strawberries (RM 19) - The perfect ending to my lunch! Sweet and sour at its best! Sorry, couldn't detect the 'spicy' part though. Maybe 'spicy' means there's some kind of spice in it?
A must try, even if it means popping into Athena's ONLY to have THIS FREAKING GOOD dessert!!.
The black stuff you see at the bottom of the glass is the ultimate sour machine! It's dried strawberry. ^^
